Additional information about the company can be found online at We are currently seeking an Measurement Engineer I/II/III/Sr for our Owensboro, KY, Houston, TX, Lafayette, LA offices, as well as our various approved locations.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Provide advanced hydrocarbon measurement and flow/pressure control equipment technical support to engineering, field measurement and measurement analysis. Provide gas quality analysis support to internal groups, external customers, and contract laboratories. Prevent or quickly identify measurement error, determine cause, effectively support repair, corrections and preventative measures as required. Manage flow computer programming and support field and measurement analysis applications. Provide support for measurement specialists' tools including PC equipment and applications, portable test equipment use and care, and procedure development. Support external customer interface requirements including design provisions, communication specifications and data exchange. Provide measurement support and design criteria requirements to various internal and external departments (i.e. Engineering, commercial, system planning, estimation, operations, compression, tech services, etc.) for sizing and selection of measurement, control, and analytical equipment. Provide project management and technical support for upgrading existing processes and initiatives relative to measurement and control.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE

This position will act as a strategic partner with the BWP Field Operations employees in order to implement effective HR practices and/or systems that align with business objectives. POSITION DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will be responsible for the calibration, gas sampling, testing, operation, and maintenance, etc. of Gulf South measurement facilities located near Lafayette, Louisiana and surrounding areas. The measurement facilities include, but are not limited to, positive meters, turbine meters, rotary meters, ultrasonic, and orifice meters, flow computers, samplers, communication devices, regulators, relief valves, valves and valve actuators, transmitters, gas quality monitoring, and automated tank gauging equipment. This position will also be responsible for environmental, health and safety and reliability for natural gas transmission through the pipeline system, along with recognition and reporting of abnormal and safety related operating conditions, accident, and near miss reporting, performing emergency response procedures, performing regulatory compliance procedures, and performing repair procedures. This position will be required to respond to callouts for emergencies or abnormal operating conditions. The successful candidate will be required to live within 30 miles of the Lafayette Office in order to respond to callouts expediently. POSITION DESCRIPTION
To carry out daily operation and maintenance tasks associated with the Arnaudville Compressor Station and pipeline system in the Lafayette Area. This position will be responsible for environmental, health & safety for natural gas transmission through the pipeline system. Specific duties will consist of, but are not limited to, the operation of natural gas turbine, valve inspection and maintenance, tank gauging, pipeline locating, pipeline patrolling, and one call duties for the compressor station and pipeline. This position will be responsible for performing all assigned construction duties as well as preventive pipeline maintenance and operations related to meter station, corrosion control, and right of way maintenance. This position will be responsible for recognition and reporting of abnormal and safety related operating conditions, accident and near miss reporting, as well as emergency response. In this role, you will also be responsible for regulatory compliance, operations, maintenance, and repair procedures associated with DOT, industry standards, manufacturer, and company guidelines as they relate to facility equipment and appurtenances. This position will be expected to respond to call-outs and be on a call-out rotation related to pipeline and compressor station activities. Qualified candidates must live within 30 miles of Arnaudville Compressor Station to respond to call outs expediently. A successful candidate will be required to complete Core Blocks in Safety, Environmental and Company policies and procedures.
