Supplier Quality Engineer

Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.

: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Supplier Quality Engineer The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for ensuring supplier-delivered products and services meet GDMS quality standards, while also providing quality support to the manufacturing floor as needed. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these skills or experiences: Experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality Knowledge of ISO 9001, GD&T, and quality management systems Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) Six Sigma or CQE certification Background in defense or aerospace manufacturing What you'll experience: Evaluating, qualifying, and monitoring suppliers for compliance with quality requirements Conducting supplier audits, assessments, and corrective action follow-ups Managing supplier nonconformances and driving root cause/corrective action (RCCA) Supporting nonconformance disposition and MRB activities on the manufacturing floor Participating in first article inspections and production readiness reviews What you bring to the table: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field 3+ years of supplier quality or manufacturing quality experience Proficiency in reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions for conformance to requirements Knowledge of ISO 9001, GD&T, and quality management systems Experience managing supplier documentation, FAIRs, and quality plans What sets you apart: Six Sigma or CQE certification Experience in defense or aerospace manufacturing Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle Our Commitment to
