Job Description
Job Summary:
The Engineer II is responsible for designing and optimizing processes for large scale manufacturing, planning and testing production methods, and overseeing facility operations. This role involves a combination of research, data analysis, and hands on work to improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability in the production of chemical products.Responsibilities:
- Research and Development
- Conduct experiments and analyze data
- Develop new products or improve existing ones
- Collaborate with cross functional teams
- Process Design and Optimization
- Design and plan production processes
- Optimize processes for efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Safety and Environmental Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Implement and maintain safety procedures
- Monitor and mitigate potential environmental impacts
- Quality Control and Assurance
- Develop and implement quality control procedures
- Conduct quality assurance testing
- Ensure product consistency and quality standards are met
- Project Management
- Plan and coordinate projects from conception to completion
- Manage timelines and budgets
- Communicate with stakeholders and provide project updates
- Technical Support
- Provide technical support to colleagues and clients
- Troubleshoot technical issues
- Train and educate team members on new processes or products
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Prepare reports on production processes and results
- Present findings and recommendations to management or clients.

- A bachelor's degree in degree in Engineering or a related field with at least 2 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and simulation software.
- Knowledge of chemical process engineering and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
