job summary: A leading manufacturer in the St. Agatha ME area is searching for a Process Engineer to join their team. This company believes in empowering engineers to innovate. St Agatha, Maine job type: Permanent salary: $85,000 - 95,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Actively champion, support, and promote a culture of detailed safety practices throughout the mill, ensuring a secure environment for all team members.

Lead and support high-impact process improvement projects spanning chemical applications, mechanical upgrades, trial management, and the investigation of emerging technologies.

Own and optimize the mill's Key Performance Indicator (KPI) management system. This includes updating operator rounds, auditing operations for out-of-range process variables, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.

Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly reviews of production and quality data.

Analyze process trends to proactively identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and implement robust manufacturing solutions.

Design, execute, and manage production trials to identify strategic opportunities for yield optimization and cost reduction.

Collaborate with key leadership and mill personnel to streamline outage planning, maintenance turnarounds, and operational scheduling.

Participate in weekend coverage rotation to provide engineering leadership and ensure continuous, stable mill operations. #LI-DC1 qualifications: Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 1 year of experience
