Research Assistant- Dept of Industrial & Sys Engineer Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Research Assistant- Dept of Industrial & Sys Engineer at its Detroit campus location. Essential functions (job duties): Data collection, preparation, cleaning, and management of healthcare-related datasets. Performing exploratory data analysis and statistical analysis using data science methodologies. Developing, evaluating, and supporting machine learning and predictive analytics models. Creating data visualizations, reports, and summaries to support research and decision-making activities. Collaborating with faculty members and interdisciplinary research teams on healthcare and public health analytics projects. Assisting in research projects involving descriptive and predictive analytics within the healthcare and public health domain. Utilizing programming and analytical tools such as Python, SQL, and data visualization techniques to support research objectives.
