- Position Overview
- We are adding a Project Supplier Quality Lead (or Manager, depending on experience) to our Kiewit Supply Network in our Lenexa Kansas office.
- District Overview
- Kiewit Supply Network group specializes in providing comprehensive procurement services to clients across the construction and engineering industries in multiple markets, including transportation; water/wastewater; power; oil, gas and chemical; building; and mining.
- Location
- This position could be based out of our Kansas City, KS, Detroit, MI or Houston, TX Offices.
- Responsibilities
- + Create and manage a project specific supplier quality plan for assigned projects + Review and approve project specific supplier quality and manufacturing documents including Quality plans, Inspection and test plans (ITP), Weld Procedure specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ), Material Test Reports (MTR)s) MTRs, coating procedures etc.
- Qualifications
- + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, or similar technical discipline AND 5+ years of related Supplier Quality experience, performing functions as outlined above, or Associates Degree AND 10 years of related SQM experience.
NACE, ASME, AWS, ISO
etc. + Knowledge of the design and fabrication requirements of equipment used in power and oil & gas industry highly desired + Must be able to communicate in a professional manner + Able to travel up to 25% of the time around North America \#LI-KM1- Desired skills
- + Quality Auditing + ISO 9001:2015 experience + CWI, CSWIP, NACE CIP Level 2 or similar certification

Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. + Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. + May work at various different locations and conditions may vary.
