- What's in it for you:
- The Lead Supplier Development Engineer is responsible for executing both quality and technical assessments at supplier locations to determine capability as well as supporting supplier source selection as the "Voice of Quality".
- What you will do:
- + Scope of work is all Trane Technologies Strategic Business Units (SBU's) and plants through Supplier quality functions.
- providing the quality detail required to support source selection and rationalization.
- leading cross-functional teams on major issues resolution at Supplier locations. + Performs advanced analysis (Commodity, Quality Systems, DPPM, DMR) to determine trends along with proposed actions to drive performance improvement.
- What you will bring:
- + Bachelor's Degree preferred; Equivalent years of experience required in lieu of degree.
- Supply Chain Acumen
- Understands the key value creation processes within the Procurement function and the role Supplier Development plays. +
- Project Management
- Identifies resource needs, develops project plan, and drives project execution. +
- Business Thinking/Strategizing
- Demonstrates regional knowledge of suppliers, industry trends and new process/technology. +
- Problem Solving
- Understands and can execute the "three root cause approach" to problem solving
- demonstrated ability to lead corrective action plan implementation and validation. +
- Relationship Management
- Works collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:
- $75,700.00
- $135,834.99
