Job Description

Description Job ResponsibilitiesLeads the design, operation, and continuous improvement of the assigned manufacturing process.

Analyzes performance metrics and conducts root-cause analysis to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, or areas for enhancement.

Develops and implements action plans to improve productivity, yield, and quality within the process.

Serves as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the assigned process. Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams (e.g., quality, maintenance, production) to diagnose and address process-related challenges swiftly and efficiently.

Monitors assigned operations to assure compliance with current project schedules and approved quality standards.

Generates and maintains process documentation to standardize and improve throughput and quality.

Provides input regarding the purchase or building of new equipment or modernization of existing production/processing equipment.

Evaluates current technologies for cost reduction and product and production improvement; checks and approves drawings/designs, standard work and develops new systems.

Monitors and support facility metrics for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Performs other duties and assigned. Job Skills RequirementsComprehensive knowledge of engineering concepts, practices and procedures engineering standards and systems.

Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing production/cell development.

Ability to operate a computer aided drawing software package to support model and print modifications and development.

Ability to plan and coordinate activities and projects. Educational RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent education and experience. Experience RequirementsFive years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment required.
