We're looking for a deposition & etch engineer to develop, run, and optimize high-precision thin film processes in a dynamic production environment. This is a unique opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge wafer fabrication equipment and contribute directly to the production of next-generation optical devices.

1st shift | Monday•Friday | 7:30 am•3:30 pm Benefits of the deposition & etch engineer: Be part of a dynamic and innovative engineering team Opportunity to grow into a technical leadership role Work directly on advanced optical semiconductor technologies Career development in a forward-thinking environment Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance 401(k) Scheduled raise/salary review Company parties Stable shop with long term customers Duties of the deposition & etch engineer: Develop, operate, and optimize semiconductor deposition and etch processes Run and maintain evaporation, sputtering, reactive ion etch (RIE), and related thin film tools Execute process quality control (QC) to ensure consistent device yield and high product quality Document processes, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives Work closely with cross-functional engineering and production teams to meet production goals and support new product development Requirements of the deposition & etch engineer: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics or Engineering (required) Strong interest in developing and running thin film deposition and etch processes in a production setting Hands-on experience with semiconductor fab tools such as evaporation, sputtering, or RIE is a plus Commitment to process control, device yield optimization, and producing high-quality results Additional information: Apply today!
