In this role, you will apply industrial engineering expertise to enhance productivity, reduce costs, improve quality, and support advanced aerospace manufacturing programs. What You'll Do As an Industrial Engineer, you will help transform manufacturing performance by: Applying industrial engineering concepts, methods, and techniques to products, processes, and services to meet program goals Developing plant layouts, equipment plans, workflows, and capacity strategies for efficient operations Designing and optimizing production systems by integrating facilities, equipment, supply base, personnel, and design requirements Conducting workflow studies and operational analysis to improve throughput and performance Researching and implementing new technologies, tools, and methods to modernize production processes Building models, databases, spreadsheets, and metrics dashboards to support leadership decision-making Improving schedule performance, lowering costs, and increasing quality through process innovation Leading facility or factory modifications and revisions to operating methods Creating product assembly instructions and standardizing best practices across operations Preparing operations plans, budgeting forecasts, capacity analysis, and production change strategies Supporting execution planning through project management, scheduling, and shop load balancing Providing production, supply chain logistics, visibility, and recovery planning support Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, design standards, and ergonomic guidelines What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field 5+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, 3+ years with a master's degree, or equivalent experience with a PhD Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with production systems, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of industrial engineering experience or equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years of Lean Manufacturing experience 5+ years partnering across multiple functional teams in a lead or integrator role Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence Experience improving manufacturing stability, quality, and productivity in complex environments Why Join Us? Pay Details:
$50.36 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan. Our benefit offerings provide employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs.
