Floor Support Job Description The Process Engineer
II, MSAT
Floor Support role is based at our biologics drug substance manufacturing facility in St. Louis, MO. The position plays a crucial role as the interface between Manufacturing Operations and MSAT, providing real-time technical support to ensure the safe, compliant, and consistent execution of clinical and commercial manufacturing operations. This role operates in a 24/7 GMP environment and is non-supervisory, focusing on rapid response to manufacturing events, deviation support, and continuous process improvement. The position is essential in supporting the production of biologic therapies for chronic and life-threatening diseases. Responsibilities Provide real-time technical support to manufacturing operations. Ensure safe and compliant execution of manufacturing processes. Respond rapidly to manufacturing events and provide deviation support. Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives. Support production of biologic therapies for chronic and life-threatening diseases. Essential Skills Proficiency in chromatography and process engineering. Minimum 4 years of experience in GMP-regulated biologics or pharmaceutical manufacturing (Engineering, Operations, or Quality). Hands-on experience with cell culture, protein purification, or large-scale biologics processing. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline required. Non-science degrees considered with 8+ years of directly related biopharmaceutical manufacturing experience. Experience in cleanroom environments (ISO 5 / ISO 7; full gowning) strongly preferred. Experience participating in deviation and CAPA investigations and documentation reviews. Work Environment The work environment requires gowning into ISO spaces, with the necessity to remove earrings, cosmetics, hair products, etc. The role is not client-facing and focuses on internal collaboration. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
