Job Description:
Perform various engineering tasks involving such functions as analysis, design, development, test, installation and service, while working from instructions, drawings, proposals, specifications, and other pertinent information. Prepare specifications and related documents in accordance with requirements, established formats and general instructions. Review and analyze a variety of engineering data, documents and reports. Consult other engineering groups to ensure that specified engineering criteria are suitable for the proposed application and recommend revisions as appropriate. Plan, conduct, or coordinate relatively straight-forward engineering analyses and tests, and prepare related reports and summaries, for review. Participate in the investigation of technical problems and the establishment of procedures and corrective actions to avoid recurrences. Plan, layout, and coordinate new / existing equipment installation.Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 5 years of experience.
- Green Belt certification (black belt preferred)
- 2 years of SAP experience in the following areas: o Purchase requisition / purchase order creation o Material review to see inventory levels for warehouse layout planning
- 5 years of AutoCAD experience in the following areas: o Equipment Layout o Warehouse Layout o Production / material flow
- Microsoft Office experience
- 1 year of experience in CNC operation / programming : Basic machine programming
- Functional knowledge in industrial electronics / electrical safety Core Responsibilities & Scope Updating and creating work instructions and process documentation
- Supporting facility layout adjustments (AutoCAD)
- Reviewing and interpreting: Electrical schematics and Engineering drawings / blueprints
- Coordinating with external contractors/vendors for onsite work
- Driving or supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintaining and improving standard work processes Required (Must-Have) Skills & Experience A.
