BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, 2+ years experience, CAD, and Excel.

Whitakers, North Carolina job type: Contract salary: $22.86 - 32.00 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Assist with the design and continuous improvement of safe, efficient manufacturing systems and workstations utilizing plant layout and ergonomic principles.

Develop and maintain process documentation, standard work methods, and logistics standards for Our Client's new and current production lines.

Apply Operations Excellence principles and use data-driven digital modeling tools to optimize plant storage space, equipment, and manufacturing performance.

Partner with business leaders and internal stakeholders to proactively identify opportunities, execute prioritized improvement initiatives, and drive better outcomes for the customer.

Support sequence cart design from vendor coordination through production, conduct parts audits, and evaluate make vs. buy cost analyses for components.
