Power Plant Engineer (new grad ok)
Location:
Center, North Dakota Salary:
$70,000 - $110,000 Excellent opportunity for a Plant Engineer to join a stable power generation facility supporting critical energy infrastructure. We are seeking candidates ranging from recent engineering graduates to experienced engineers who are interested in power plant operations, equipment reliability, maintenance, and capital projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate preparation of engineering drawings and specifications for plant process equipment?
  • Support the design, installation, and replacement of mechanical plant equipment and systems?
  • Troubleshoot equipment and plant systems to improve safety, reliability, and operational performance?
  • Work closely with operations, maintenance personnel, contractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues?
  • Analyze plant performance data and provide recommendations for process and equipment improvements?
  • Support capital improvement and maintenance projects from concept through implementation?
  • Monitor work activities to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations?
  • Maintain engineering records, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation?
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies that improve plant efficiency, reliability, availability, and equipment life
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred; other engineering disciplines will be considered?
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply?
  • Engineers with industrial, manufacturing, utility, power generation, refinery, petrochemical, mining, or heavy process industry experience are welcome?
  • Experience with rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, turbines, boilers, heat exchangers, piping systems, valves, or material handling equipment is a plus?
  • Knowledge of equipment troubleshooting, reliability engineering, root cause analysis, maintenance practices, and project engineering is desirable?
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings, P&IDs, Auto
CAD, CMMS
systems, or plant maintenance systems is beneficial?
