Contract

Apr 30, 2026
Looking for an Production Support Engineer that is skilled in Python and Docker to be on call. The regular hours during this contract will be 5 pm to 6 am during the Monday-Friday business week. Summary — Support During Cube Implementation
The team is planning testing for the cube while keeping the existing RCS system operational, which has been unstable and requires frequent hands-on support.
The RCS system has been maintained, which can run for hours but intermittently needs significant technical attention, including data corrections and server monitoring.
During testing, the system must run 24/7, with daily transitions (6am-5pm) between old and new solutions, a delicate and labor-intensive process that will occupy key staff.
This engineer will provide reliable support overnight (third shift) while primary experts are tied up with testing activities.
Common issues include: Docker container corruption requiring container restarts or rebuilds on a regular basis and in a specific order.
Database and data corruption issues, including clearing invalid data.
Scanning problems (e.g., pallet scans) often resolved through Docker.
