Job Description

Supplier quality engineering role focused on supplier performance, audits, corrective actions, quality systems, and continuous improvement. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical degree 2+ years of relevant experience Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings Experience with supplier quality performance monitoring and issue resolution Experience with quality management systems Knowledge of supplier audits, supplier corrective actions, and supplier rejection disposition Experience with problem solving, analytical methods, and process improvement Preferred Skills ASQ-CQE, CQA, or equivalent certification Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification

Lead Auditor certification Mini-tab application experience Technical writing experience Experience with enterprise-wide systems integration, including PLM, MRP, MES, and ERP systems Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen methodologies Knowledge of Statistical Process Control Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process Knowledge of control plans Experience with
ISO 13485, ISO
9001, or AS9100 standards Job Responsibilities Monitor supplier quality performance Manage and resolve supplier quality issues Develop supplier relationships related to quality performance and corrective action activities Audit supplier capabilities, capacities, products, processes, and procedures Handle disposition of supplier rejections Coordinate supplier corrective actions Support customer satisfaction through supplier quality issue resolution Support continual improvement activities related to supplier quality performance Apply quality management methodologies to supplier quality processes Use quality data and process improvement tools to identify supplier performance trends Support compliance with quality management system requirements
