Symrise - always inspiring more… About the Role Position Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Packaging Analyst to manage and optimize all packaging-related activities. This role is critical in ensuring that packaging solutions are created, assigned, and maintained in advance, enabling a more efficient and responsive order fulfillment process. The goal is to eliminate delays caused by last-minute packaging setup and reduce inefficiencies across Customer Service and Planning. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead the creation, setup, and assignment of packaging specifications in advance of customer orders. Analyze packaging needs and demand trends to proactively prepare solutions, minimizing reactive work. Maintain and continuously improve the packaging portfolio to ensure efficiency, standardization, and cost-effectiveness. Act as the central point of contact for all packaging-related matters across departments. Collaborate closely with Regulatory, Sales, Customer Service, Planning, and Logistics teams to align packaging requirements and ensure compliance. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve turnaround times related to packaging activities. Support issue resolution related to packaging, ensuring timely and effective communication across stakeholders. About You Required Qualifications High School Diploma / GED. 2+ years of experience in Customer Service and/or Planning (ideally both). Experience with packaging. Experience within supply chain and/or operations. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). Experience working within ERP systems (SAP preferred). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and drive proactive initiatives. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Cross-functional collaboration. Process optimization. Accountability and ownership. Pay Transparency Disclosure:
The expected gross hourly rate for this position is USD $65000.00 - USD $80000.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance.
