$100,000 - $125,000 per year Job Details - Are you a driven professional with a passion for improving systems and processes? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Industrial Engineer with a background in 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) to join our team. As an integral part of our team, you will play a critical role in enhancing our operational efficiency, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting our long-term growth strategy. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
As an Industrial Engineer, your core duties will include: 1. Designing, implementing, and enhancing efficient industrial systems and processes that meet our operational needs. 2. Applying Lean/Six Sigma principles to identify, analyze, and resolve process inefficiencies. 3. Developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational excellence and enhance customer satisfaction. 4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions. 5. Conducting time studies, capacity modeling, and cost analysis to optimize resource utilization and operational efficiency. 6. Monitoring the performance of implemented projects and processes, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance and sustainability. 7. Providing technical guidance and training to staff on new processes and systems. 8. Staying updated with the latest industrial engineering trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be an added advantage. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer, preferably in a 3PL environment. 3. Proven experience in applying Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements. 4. Strong knowledge of continuous improvement principles and techniques. 5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. 6. Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 8. Proficiency in using industrial engineering software and tools. 9. Certification in Lean/Six Sigma will be an added advantage.
