Job Description
Develops and implements supplier quality evaluation and control systems. Perform Specification/Drawing Compliance Reviews, First Article Inspections and support Receiving Inspection on various categories of hardware such as Printed Wiring Boards (PWB), Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA), cables and connectors, microelectronics, electro-mechanical systems, and mechanical components & assemblies. Supports the maintenance of the approved supplier list and periodically reviews supplier performance to determine whether suppliers should remain on the approved list. Manages supplier requests for waivers, deviations, and the discrepancy reporting process. Coordinates and oversees the implementation of the Supplier Quality plan throughout all program phases. Manages implementation of Supplier Quality processes, including supplier approval activities, source selection evaluations, supplier classification designation (Critical, Key, and Standard), development and execution of risk assessments and mitigation plans, and supplier quality requirements development and flow-downs. Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and minimum of 2 years of experience in quality and/or supply chain Willing to travel up to 25% Experience facilitating Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) activities. Defense industry experience, including interfacing with suppliers. Experience in a quality, supplier quality role. SAP Business System experience. Experience with
