IET consulting positions provide our engineers with valuable experiences that includes: Opportunities to gain a diverse range of experiences within our broad client base across many different industries Interaction with multiple levels within a client organization Travel to new places The ability to strengthen skills in problem solving, decision making, creative thinking and time management Contract Position Qualifications Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States Candidates must be willing to travel to the client location in Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada for the project Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must Must be proficient with MS Office Experience with AutoCAD is required IET Engineering Position Description Participate in layout planning by taking measurements, drafting basic layouts, and assisting with equipment moves or reconfiguration Collect and analyze production data to measure productivity, efficiency, labor utilization, and workflow performance Conduct time and motion studies to identify delays, determine standard work times, and support labor standards development Assist in process mapping and workflow documentation, creating diagrams, SOPs, and visual work instructions Support continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, waste reduction, and process optimization activities Help develop and update work standards, including method sheets, job breakdowns, and standard operating procedures Monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or opportunities for improvement Support quality and safety initiatives by collecting defect data, observing workstation ergonomics, and identifying potential issues Prepare reports and documentation, summarizing observations, improvement opportunities, and study results for engineers and supervisors Coordinate with operators and supervisors, communicating findings, gathering feedback, and ensuring accurate implementation of improvements IET, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applicants equally without regard to their race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, genetic information, or any other category protected by federal, state or local law.
