Salary Range:

Position Summary The Packaging Developer is responsible for managing the development, execution, and production of packaging across multiple product categories, including socks, sleepwear, slippers, intimates, and activewear. This role serves as the primary owner of day-to-day packaging development activities, partnering with internal stakeholders, overseas vendors, and manufacturing partners to ensure packaging meets quality, functionality, compliance, cost, and timeline objectives. The position plays a critical role in supporting new product launches and maintaining packaging standards across a diverse portfolio of licensed and private label brands. Essential Duties and Responsibilit ies Support the sourcing, development, and execution of primary and secondary packaging components for new product launches and existing programs. Collect, maintain, and organize packaging specifications from suppliers, vendors, factories, and contract manufacturers Collaborate with Product Development and Design teams to review artwork and confirm accuracy of part numbers, UPCs, labeling requirements, and packaging details prior to print approvals. Ensure packaging functionality, product compatibility, quality standards, and retailer requirements are met throughout the development process. Maintain accurate packaging information, specifications, and documentation across internal systems in partnership with Operations and Manufacturing teams. Coordinate directly with overseas factories, packaging suppliers, and production partners to manage packaging development timelines, approvals, and execution. Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Design, Product Development, Operations, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams as needed. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to packaging costs, sustainability, functionality, and process optimization. Review packaging samples, strike-offs, proofs, and production submissions to ensure quality and accuracy. Manage multiple packaging development projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and business priorities. Complete additional projects and assignments as directed by department leadership Qualificat ions Bachelor's degree preferred in Packaging, Graphic Design, Product Development, Industrial Design, Supply Chain, or a related field 5+ years of packaging development experience within apparel, accessories, footwear, beauty, consumer products, or related industries Strong understanding of packaging materials, print production processes, labeling requirements, packaging specifications, and manufacturing processes Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator required Experience reviewing production artwork, packaging layouts, dielines, and print-ready files Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and execution Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting licensed brands and retailer-specific packaging requirements Experience working directly with overseas factories, suppliers, and packaging vendors Knowledge of packaging sustainability initiatives and cost-saving strategies Experience within apparel, accessories, footwear, or consumer products industries Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer Ability to review physical packaging samples and product materials Ability to occasionally lift and move sample packages up to 25 pounds Benefits Majesty Brands offers a competitive compensation package including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k), and additional employee benefits Additional Information Majesty Brands is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position now or in the future Equal Employment Opportunity S tatement Majesty Brands is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace.
