Job Description:
Beacon Search Group is seeking a Lean Industrial Engineer for our client in the the Toledo, OH area. This is a direct hire position with great benefits. Responsibilities Support the design, optimization, and automation of warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment. This role will focus on warehouse layout design, material handling equipment integration (AMRs, AS/RS, PIVs, Turrets), PFEP management, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material flow, space utilization, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse design, logistics engineering, or material flow planning, with strong knowledge of PFEP, lean manufacturing principles, and warehouse automation technologies. Responsibilities include developing storage and material flow solutions, maintaining PFEP data, supporting equipment implementation projects, analyzing operational bottlenecks, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Qualifications Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, along with 3+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, warehouse automation systems, Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, and advanced material handling technologies is highly preferred.
