Pittsburgh, PA Salary:

$85,000 - $110,000 + Bonus + Benefits We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing client in the Pittsburgh area who is seeking a Production Engineer to support and improve manufacturing operations at a key production facility. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on driving process improvement, supporting day-to-day production performance, and working closely with shop floor teams to resolve technical and operational issues. You will play a key part in improving efficiency, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across production. The business is focused on operational excellence and is looking for an engineer who can bridge production, maintenance, and quality to deliver measurable performance improvements. What You'll Be Doing Supporting daily manufacturing operations with engineering expertise Troubleshooting process and equipment issues on the shop floor Driving Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Analysing production data to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies Supporting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions Assisting with equipment optimisation and process capability improvements Working closely with maintenance, quality, and production teams Supporting new product introductions and process changes Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards What We're Looking For 2-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor operations Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement tools preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred Strong communication skills and a hands-on, practical approach Package Base salary: $85,000 - $110,000 Annual performance bonus Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision) 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Strong career development opportunities within a growing manufacturing organization
