Job Description

What You'll Do:
Lead rapid response investigations, driving root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions Conduct and support supplier audits, identifying gaps and implementing sustainable improvements Develop and manage supplier scorecards, turning performance data into action Partner with Engineering to define Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) requirements and robust gaging plans Support new product launches, ensuring suppliers are ready from day one Drive continuous improvement initiatives across global suppliers Ensure effective execution of PPAP, APQP, SPC, and other quality frameworks Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce risk, improve reliability, and exceed customer expectations
What You'll Bring:
5 -7 years in a manufacturing quality environment Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience) Electro -mechanical experience (plastic molding, machining, stamping, casting, PCBA, etc.) Expertise in root cause analysis, 8D, SPC, and process capability (CpK) Working knowledge of ISO quality systems Experience with tools like MiniTab or similar statistical software Confidence leading audits, influencing suppliers, and driving accountability Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels Willingness to travel up to 25% within North America Xylem does not provide visa sponsorship for this position The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 to $102,000. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
