The Engineering Technician is responsible for solving customer and/or assembly specific problems in the manufacturing process and ensuring process designs are achieving the highest efficiency. What you'll do: Support manufacturing floor daily operations and drive continuous improvement of key production cells including optimization and balancing of equipment and personnel cycle times Recommend and implement process improvements for departments that enhance safety, quality and efficiencies Troubleshoot program/process/machine and operator issues Troubleshoot and repair of electro-mechanical equipment as needed and coordinate with Maintenance on repair and preventative safety and maintenance Support ECN and customer changes to programming during production runs Train and develop all machine operators within department to ensure proper performance and efficiency Proactively communicate with other departments as required regarding production issues Perform machine operation, setup, line maintenance, training, and assisting operators on machine operation and setup, and ensuring proper program performance and efficiency Fill in for machine operators or Engineers when needed Design and develop tooling as needed Actively support production personnel in the set-up and debugging process for new applications What will make you stand out? Two-year technical degree or equivalent work experience Prior manufacturing engineering experience with technical leadership in high-reliability SMT, PTH, or Systems Integration Understanding of validation principles, manufacturing processes, quality systems, and engineering design fundamentals Technical knowledge of reading blueprints, schematics, electrical/engineering drawings, etc. Strong analytical, problem solving, and innovative solution capabilities Must be resourceful, thorough, and decisive in a fast-paced environment What we offer?
