Overview The role of the Suppliers Quality Coordinator (SQC) is to improve quality in line with the site PPM and number of suppliers' complaints target. In this context, the SQC is involved in the supplier and or raw material qualification process, responsible for all quality improvement issues related materials and suppliers. Responsible to drive suppliers towards quality expectations and materials technical specifications. To succeed in this mission, the SQ Coordinator needs to build collaborative links internally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and Production and externally with suppliers. Responsibilities To maintain proper safety standards according to established policies and procedures including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed in the production area Actively participate and sustain all 5S activities and routine Quality representative responsible for ensuring that all new or potential suppliers are assessed against the relevant selection procedures and fully meet the standards required by IDEMIA Perform suppliers' product and process qualification and or follow up audits Review with Engineering technical specification and internal incoming inspections instructions and control plan Lead Material Review Board with Engineering and Supply Chain According to the monitoring level determined for the suppliers, plan and monitor appropriate actions (audits, scorecards) and measure quality supplier performance level as per set frequency Control material non-conformities and proper communication internally to Supply Chain, Engineering and Production, and externally to suppliers Ensure effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions at supplier and internally by supporting on root cause analysis and effectiveness check of corrective actions Provide the necessary data to enable Purchasing to transfer costs of non-quality to the suppliers Ensure that suppliers control their processes and final outgoing inspection, providing Certificate of Conformance at each delivery Ensure proper Incoming Inspection procedures are implemented (proper controls, frequency and tools) and monitor results Manage projects and key indicators by creating suitable data analysis and report findings based on statistical evidence and trending Assist with the development and maintenance of department procedures and work instructions. Assist in training personnel and ensure that employees received updated training in work instructions and procedures Support and understanding of ISO 9001 and 14001, VISA/MC/PCI and any other specifications and requirements Assist the supervisor to maintain workflow in the department and to coordinate department functions with the production schedule for material related issues Must follow procedures and guidelines as defined by the Employee Handbook Perform other duties as instructed by direct Supervision Qualifications At least five years of experience in manufacturing Experience in Supplier Quality Assurance and or Quality audits Advanced computer skills to include all main MS Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to perform well under pressure Strong organization skills, excellent personal time management, group time management, decision-making, and analytical skills required Must be extremely detail-oriented and accept ownership for projects Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
