Job Description

We're working on behalf of a client seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Quality Engineer who enjoys collaborating across teams, strengthening supplier performance, and leading structured corrective actions. This Quality Engineer role is fully on-site and ideal for someone who learns quickly and stays improvement-focused. Requirements 5+ years in a similar Quality Engineer / manufacturing quality role (Lean preferred) 2-year technical degree required; 4-year degree preferred Working knowledge of PPAP and
FMEA CAPA/PCAPA
experience and strong root-cause/problem-solving skills Supplier quality experience (scorecards, audits, requirements communication) Ability to interpret prints/specs and write clear work instructions Comfortable measuring parts (calipers, etc.) in inches/millimeters Ability to create measurement programs (Keyence, Nikon, or similar) Up to ~5% travel (customer/supplier visits, training, other sites) Key duties Manage
CAR/SCAR
activity and follow-through to effectiveness Lead/support supplier audits and supplier QMS documentation needs Participate in new product implementation to flag quality risks early Drive corrective/preventive actions with small cross-functional teams Complete First Article Inspections and deliver reports on time Maintain work instructions/visual aids and analyze quality trends Coach/support other quality team members and continuous improvement work Perks & benefits $65,000-$85,000 (DOE) Fully on-site New/added position with growth opportunity
