Job Description SummaryThe Industrial Engineer is responsible for driving operational excellence, productivity improvement across manufacturing processes. This role will support production and engineering teams in the development and optimization of processes for circuit breakers and instrument transformers, ensuring high quality, efficiency, and safety standards.
The position plays a key role in implementing Lean principles, supporting PFMEA development, designing manufacturing fixtures, and leading initiatives to improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance overall manufacturing performance.
Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesSupport manufacturing operations for circuit breaker and instrument transformer production linesLead and facilitate Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify risks and implement preventive controlsDesign, develop, and implement manufacturing fixtures and tooling to improve safety, quality, and efficiencyAnalyze production processes to identify opportunities for cycle time reduction, labor optimization, and cost savingsDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on eliminating waste and improving flowDevelop and maintain standard work, work instructions, and process documentationSupport line balancing, capacity analysis, and layout optimization to meet production targetsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain) to resolve process issues and improve performanceSupport new product introduction (NPI) and process transfers, ensuring robust and scalable manufacturing processesEnsure compliance with EHS, quality standards, and company proceduresCreate and coordinate Management of Change (MOC) projectsSupport production routing management with time studies and waste huntingRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentDesired CharacteristicsStrong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan and execute programs.

Relocation Assistance Provided:
NoFor candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $81,700.00 and $136,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
