The ideal candidate will support production planning activities, coordinate technical issues, track assets and materials, and assist with Lean Manufacturing initiatives in a fast-paced defense and manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Provide technical services and production planning support for PM SPHS programs. Coordinate with Program Managers (PMs), ANAD/VUOC personnel, and contractor teams. Track and coordinate nonconforming parts and rework activities. Monitor asset accountability and shipping information.
Develop and maintain documentation for:
Material accountability Work instructions Production tracking Technical issue tracking Quality assurance processes Develop and revise work measurement and man-hour standards based on production data and learning curves. Support Lean Manufacturing objectives and budget requirements. Monitor production line technical issues and communicate impacts related to schedule, cost, or quality. Provide status updates and reports to leadership as required. Qualifications Experience in production planning, manufacturing support, logistics, or program management. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Experience working in a manufacturing, depot, or defense environment preferred. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is preferred. Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production tracking systems. Preferred Experience Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs. Familiarity with
ANAD/VUOC
operations, production environments, or vehicle overhaul programs. Experience with technical documentation and quality tracking processes. Work Environment Collaborative team environment supporting critical defense production operations. Fast-paced manufacturing and program support setting. Minimum Requirements Secret Clearance Associate's degree from an accredited university. Minimum 15 years specialized experience in working with/on tracked or wheeled combat vehicles in military or civilian capacity, working directly with PM offices, and working onsite at military installations.
