Requirements:
- Engineering degree preferred; equivalent hands-on technical experience will be considered
- Minimum 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Experience working with industrial combustion systems, burners, or thermal process equipment
- Strong understanding of: thermodynamics heat transfer mass transfer fluid mechanics airflow balancing combustion optimization
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
Key Responsibilities:
- Support combustion systems, thermal processes, and drying operations across multiple manufacturing facilities
- Evaluate plant thermal and electrical systems and identify opportunities for performance improvement, energy reduction, and cost savings
- Troubleshoot manufacturing process issues related to combustion, airflow, heat transfer, and production inefficiencies
- Recommend and help implement process improvements that improve plant reliability, throughput, and operating efficiency
- Support startup, tuning, and troubleshooting of industrial burners, combustion systems, and associated controls
- Analyze plant process data and develop recommendations for process optimization
- Assist with upgrades involving process controls, instrumentation, and data collection systems
