Job Description

About us Arlon is located in Rancho Cucamonga, California and is a major manufacturer of specialty high performance laminate and prepreg materials for use in a wide variety of PCB (printed circuit board) applications. Arlon specializes in thermoset resin technology including polyimide, high Tg multifunctional epoxy, and low loss thermoset laminate and prepreg systems. These resin systems are available on a variety of substrates including woven glass and non-woven aramid. Typical applications for these materials include advanced commercial and military electronics such as avionics, semiconductor testing, heat sink bonding, High Density Interconnect (HDI) and microvia PCB's (i.e. in mobile communication products). Our facility employs state of the art production equipment engineered to provide cost-effective and flexible manufacturing capacity allowing us to respond quickly to customer requirements while meeting the most stringent quality and tolerance demands. Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting supervisors in achieving production and quality targets. Manage and supervise related operations and personnel management tasks. The first year will focus primarily on the Technical Infrastructure and learning Arlon's processes before you select an area of engineering specialization. Please expect rotational assignments throughout the entire Arlon facility to gain overall process exposure.
Job Details:
Perform technical work as assigned by supervisor during the production process. Follow Facilities operation/Installation/Production process and daily production tasks SOP Monitoring Daily Operations output and quality status/consumable material inventory. Assisting facilities Design/Construction assigned by supervisor. Learning the process of Pre-Preg/Paneling/Material Packing/Product packaging and receiving/Post end process. Execute daily work task/duties assigned by superiors, achieve individual KPI tasks. Reports any abnormal data/scrap rate at production floor. Environmental/workplace Health and Safety. Learning goals during this time will include: Learn how we establish and operate facilities and workplaces. Gain experience on the skillsets required to operate one of the leading-edge fabrication facilities in the industry, equipped with many of the toolsets required to process the leading technology for the industry Work amongst the technologists and subject matter experts in the semiconductor field to enable the tooling and infrastructure requirements to meet the next generation technology requirements. Learn all the Arlon/EMC processes and decided by end of year one area of specialization. Support global facility expansion that will enable ~50% growth. Learn the digital tools that are currently in use at Arlon/EMC to assist in planning, design and layout for various infrastructure types. Exposure to the operational processes required to coordinate the complex activities required to ensure successful completion of projects related to the installation, modification and/or facilities infrastructure requirements or client projects Understand how to optimize design and footprint of facilities and services to align with enduring hybrid working patterns.
Technical skills:
Background or education in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other technical facilities related discipline is desirable. Prefer a candidate with hands on work experience Requirement and education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or other technical facilities related degree is desirable 3.0 GPA or above desirable
