Production Engineer Location:
Plano, TX (Hybrid, 2 days onsite per week)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Production Engineer with 3-4 years of experience in Production Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to support highly available, scalable, and resilient production systems. The ideal candidate will own end-to-end operational responsibilities including monitoring, incident response, automation, root cause analysis, and performance optimization across enterprise platforms and cloud-native environments. This role requires strong collaboration with development, QA, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to streamline deployments, improve system reliability, and maintain operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Engineering & SRE Design, implement, and maintain highly available and resilient production environments. Monitor application and infrastructure health, respond to incidents, and perform root cause analysis. Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Perform capacity planning and optimize system performance to meet SLAs and SLOs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. Ensure compliance with security, disaster recovery, and operational best practices. Utilize monitoring and observability tools to proactively detect and resolve production issues.
Technical Requirements:
Snowflake / Oracle / Python Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and workflows using Snowflake and Oracle databases. Write and optimize advanced SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and transformations. Automate data ingestion, validation, and monitoring using Python and orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or Prefect . Monitor database performance and resource utilization using: Snowflake Resource Monitors Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud monitoring tools Troubleshoot production incidents related to: Data inconsistencies Pipeline failures Performance degradation Implement security controls including: Role-based access control Data masking Encryption Integrate database deployments into CI/CD pipelines using Git , Jenkins , or Azure DevOps . Tune Snowflake warehouse sizing and Oracle configurations for performance and cost optimization. Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
Java / Microservices
/ AWS Build and maintain cloud-native microservices using: Java Spring Boot JavaScript frameworks Design RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures using AWS services including: Lambda
ECS/EKS SQS SNS
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using: Jenkins GitLab CI AWS CodePipeline Monitor applications using: AWS CloudWatch Prometheus Grafana Jaeger / AWS X-Ray Troubleshoot production issues and implement reliability improvements.
Implement security best practices including:
IAM Roles OAuth2 JWT Encryption standards Support resilient architectures with automated failover and recovery mechanisms. Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using: Terraform CloudFormation Optimize AWS resource utilization and autoscaling configurations. Maintain system architecture and deployment documentation. SAP Finance & Accounting Techno-Functional Provide production support for
SAP FI/CO
modules ensuring business continuity.
Troubleshoot issues related to:
SAP configuration ABAP custom code External system integrations Use SAP Solution Manager for: Incident management Change requests Transport management Deployments across environments Monitor batch jobs, system performance, and logs using:
SAP CCMS ST22
Automate workflows using SAP Business Workflow and background job scheduling. Collaborate with functional teams and end users to resolve production issues. Support SAP upgrades, patches, and integration projects. Manage SAP security roles, authorizations, and compliance controls. Document support procedures, troubleshooting guides, and configuration changes. Utilize proactive monitoring and alerting tools to minimize production downtime. Qualifications 3-4 years of experience in Production Engineering, SRE, or Production Support roles. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in enterprise production environments. Experience supporting cloud-based and distributed systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced, onsite production support environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
