In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Systems Operations Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Systems Operations Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Required Qualifications:
Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Level 2/3 production support for Automated Credit, Rewards, and Credit Card Hub applications Monitor production systems and ensure system stability and uptime Analyze and troubleshoot failed mainframe jobs (JCL) Perform root cause analysis and support ad hoc job executions Partner with Production Control to restart and recover failed jobs Respond to business user requests and application team needs Maintain and update incident tracking (ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence) Monitor and respond to application group mailboxes Document incidents, resolutions, and create JIRA stories for follow-up
Key Requirements:
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Strong experience in Mainframe Production Support JCL, COBOL, CICS, DB2, CA7, IDCAMS, Mainview File tools: File Manager, File Analyzer, EZTRIEV Experience with ticketing and documentation tools (ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence or similar) Ability to work in a high-volume, production-critical environment
