Position Title:

Supplier Quality Engineer Location:

Irvine, CA Work Arrang ement: 100% On-site Position Summary This position is a full-time position at the irvine site of DZYNE Technologies LLC. The primary goal of this role is to ensure that externally sourced materials, components, and services meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements. The Supplier Quality Engineer manages supplier performance, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement to prevent defects and reduce variation.

Required Duties and Responsibilities:

Supplier Audits & Evaluation:

Conduct on-site and remote audits to evaluate supplier quality systems and compliance. Corrective Action (CAPA): Lead root cause analysis for supplier-related issues and verify effective corrective actions.

Performance Monitoring:

Track supplier metrics such as Defects and On-Time Delivery (OTD). First Article Inspection (FAI): Review and approve FAIs per AS9102 requirements. New Product Introduction (NPI): Work with Engineering and suppliers to ensure a "flawless" transition from a product's design phase into full-scale mass production. This includes but is not limited to KPCs identification, QCP development, DFM review, and supplier assessment and qualification.

Process Improvement:

Collaborate with suppliers to improve their manufacturing processes, utilizing tools like Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA). Internal audit : Participate in internal audits to ensure the effective implementation of Quality Management System. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical) or a related technical field.

Experience:

2-4 years of previous experience in quality control, assurance, supply chain management and/or manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in quality tools (QCP, FMEA), and Six Sigma or LEAN methodology

Troubleshooting & Support :

Provide technical support and optimize system performance for end-users.

Compliance :

Working knowledge of AS9001 or ISO 9001 or other major

Quality Management Systems Strong Collaboration & Communication:

Ability to interface effectively with many internal and external groups

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

Previous Supplier Quality Engineering experience Knowledge in quality tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA), and LEAN /Six Sigma methodology.

Education :

A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution. Equivalent professional experience or relevant technical certifications will be considered.

Clearance Level Required :

None required.

Travel Required :

Up to 10%

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: Must have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs. Involves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work.

Salary:

$96,000 - $114,000 Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
