Job Description

Job Summary An industrial engineered solutions provider in Charleston, SC is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer for a direct hire opportunity. This role is suited for a mechanical or pump sales engineer with hands-on experience in pump systems, fluid handling, water and wastewater, or engineered industrial solutions. This role requires a strong working knowledge of these systems. You will build strong customer relationships, identify their system needs, recommend customized pump and fluid handling solutions, and support customers throughout the full sales cycle. This position offers the opportunity to combine technical problem solving, business development, territory growth, and project coordination in a high-value engineered solutions environment.   • Develop and grow customer relationships across an assigned sales territory.
  • Conduct customer meetings, product demonstrations, site visits, and technical presentations for pump and fluid handling solutions.
  • Analyze customer requirements, site conditions, system performance issues, and operational challenges to recommend engineered solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, supply chain, installation, and operations teams to prepare proposals and support project execution.
  • Coordinate project activities from initial inquiry through commissioning, installation support, and post-sale customer service.
  • Provide ongoing technical guidance, troubleshooting support, and maintenance recommendations to ensure customer satisfaction and system reliability.
