Retail, Wholesale, Apparel Description The Distribution Center Engineer role supports the Distribution Center by driving process improvement, engineering projects, slotting strategy, and labor management. A Distribution Center Engineer will use Lean principles to lead and conduct process improvement, DC capacity and throughput planning, project management, and operational analysis. He/she must be self-motivated, detail oriented, have strong communication skills, and work effectively in a team environment. Duties and Responsibilities Act as a change agent within the DC and Supply Chain Network, to identify, lead, support and manage the implementation of projects & change initiatives to best support company business needs. 35% Analyze operations to identify, measure, and test new methods, processes, and procedures to maintain and improve DC operational capacity and performance. 35% Ensure a culture of continuous improvement performance, utilizing change management and performance management techniques. 10% Develop, write, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) as necessary. 5% Conduct complex analyses based on sound engineering fundamentals while driving Total Cost Optimization for the business. 5% OptimizeWMS & WCS
configuration to streamline process flows and reduce manual intervention. 5% Additional responsibilities as defined by manager. 5% Scope Staff supervision and development:No Travel:

DC Based The anticipated salary range for this position is $82,700- $124,000 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience.
Requirements Education and Experience Minimum:
4 Year / Bachelors Degree. Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Degree in Industrial Engineering preferred Years of Experience Minimum of 2 yrs. of work history directly related to industrial engineering, supply chain and/or distribution Skills Education and/or Experience- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
