Job Description Sealed Air has a strong history of successful co-op and internship placements within the organization, increasing your chances of being chosen as a full-time new hire upon completion of education. The global Research and Development (R&D) leadership team supports this avenue to build our next generation of leaders in science and engineering. Our positions could include experiences such as: Plan and conduct laboratory research projects in areas of food, medical packaging, or protective packaging Work with Application Experts in their field Participate as a member of a project team Present to Leadership Teams at the end of each rotation Each session of the program is developed to be a project assignment.

Qualifications Required Qualifications:

Completed at least 1.5 years preferred (minimum 1year) towards a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university 2.5 or higher GPA Authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship Must be able to handle and be in direct contact with raw meat and protein products Able to provide own transportation to the internship/co-op location Able to work 10+ hour days in 40°F environments as needed Ability to travel up to 30%

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledgeable about general lab and machine shop practices Strong hands on skills Familiarity with Solidworks Creative and a strong problem solver Ability to work independently with limited supervision Good written and verbal communication skills Requisition id: 54339
