You will be the F-16 Production Electrical Liaison Engineer for theF-16 VIPER
Block 70/72 Production team which is responsible for delivering high-performance aircraft to our customers. What You Will Be Doing As the F-16 Production Electrical Liaison Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring electrical assembly quality and continuity on the active F-16 production line.Your responsibilities will include:
Provide daily technical support for fabrication, sub-assembly, component assembly, and aircraft mate operations. Serve as the production-line liaison, coordinating with Design, Quality, Planning, Functional Test, and Flight Sciences. UtilizeCATIA V5
to model electrical assemblies, investigate discrepancies, and support design modifications. Lead Material Review Board engineering investigations, develop technical solutions, and manage disposition releases. Drive process improvements on the floor and capture lessons learned for corrective action. - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Electrical Engineering preferred
- 1 year of engineering experience or no experience required with a related Masters degree
- Experience with reading and interpreting electrical drawings/schematics
- Experience with aircraft electrical and avionics systems
Desired Skills:
- F-16 Fighter Jet Engineering experience
- Experience with 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD);
CATIA V5
preferred- Experience with engineering drawing release
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedules:
