Industrial Engineer Req #781 1 Maxwell Dr, Trenton, SC 29847, USA Apply Share Job Description Posted Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 12:00 AM The Industrial Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining the bill of material, bill of operations, manufacturing time studies, and process flow analysis. Lead process improvement projects. Lead customer sample orders to assist in NEW Business. Prepare AutoCAD drawings for the production manufacturing/customer drawing request and update existing SKU drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain standard routings and bill of materials in AX system for manufactured products. Understanding all manufacturing process including setup times. Lead, in conjunction with plant controller, the Product Costing Process (Qtest) including Product Configurator process, system updates and work with programmers on improvements as needed. Review labor efficiencies on existing product construction for future routing improvements. This will require working together with the Plant Controller to discuss positive and negative labor efficiencies. Take the Lead in the sample order workflow process to coordinate with production, sales, sourcing, and quality departments Responsible for doing time studies on manufacturing processes to validate routings and identify process improvement area. Preforms data mining of past production workorders. Work with Production Supervisor using lean principles such as lean six sigma and Kaizen. Assist in the design layout for production lines and warehouse to improve space utilization, automation, and work center flow. Initiates Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), and submits for review and approval. Must work with Technical and Quality for support. This includes documentation, Drawing updates, and notifications after the approval. Coordinate with Production Supervisor, Technical Sales, Master Scheduler and production personnel on new and existing construction methodologies as it relates to cost and manufacturing processes to include equipment improvements. Prepare AutoCAD drawings for production on new SKU's, update existing SKU drawings as applicable. In addition, work with sales and technical to develop customer approval drawings, on customer supplied filters for quoting/manufacturing purposes. Active participant or resource for Safety, Environment, and ISO. Perform other relates duties as requested by Manager. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree - Engineering, Preferably Industrial Engineering 1-3 years of experience in product cost development in a manufacturing environment Experience in Lean Six Sigma Preferred knowledge of filter media construction and raw materials used for its production. Ability to manager shifting priorities and act decisively in time-sensitive situations AutoCAD experience analytical competency Strong organizational abilities Detail and results oriented Proficient in MS Office Strong interpersonal skills, foster cross-functional relationships, be a team player.
