The company operates more than 60 plants worldwide and supplies to major OEMs including Ford, Toyota, and Volkswagen. This is a cross-functional role with direct customer and supplier interface responsibility and ownership of the full APQP and PPAP process.

Compensation:
$70,000 - $100,000 Per Year What You'll Do You will serve as the primary quality lead for new product and program introductions, coordinating all Advanced Quality Planning activities from pre-production through process sign-off. This includes leading the preparation, evaluation, and submission of PPAP packages in line with individual customer requirements, tracking program timing through all phases using industry-standard project methodology, and maintaining responsibility for customer satisfaction at every stage of the launch process. You will lead root cause analysis efforts for non-conforming product conditions, applying structured problem-solving methodologies including 8D, and coordinate corrective action implementation across internal departments including Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Inspection. Statistical analysis of production data using SPC tools is a regular part of the role, used to identify trends and drive measurable quality improvement. Customer and supplier liaison work is central to this position. You will manage all quality-related communication with customers and their supplier quality teams, with direct experience supporting Ford, Toyota, and Volkswagen-specific requirements. program requirements and all related documentation, conduct internal and external quality reviews, and maintain gauge and fixture calibration schedules. Development and implementation of shop floor work instructions is part of the scope, as is coordination of engineering changes and associated file maintenance.
