Full-Time Job Summary Our client, a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier, is seeking an entry-level Industrial Engineer to support manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a strong analytical mindset and interest in optimizing production processes. The Industrial Engineer will play a key role in improving Quality, Delivery, and Cost through data analysis, capacity planning, and Lean Manufacturing practices. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment with strong growth potential. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions Exposure to a manufacturing environment (internship, co-op, or direct experience) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools Understanding of basic manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills Effective written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience in automotive or Tier 1 supplier environment Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, waste reduction, standard work) Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) Exposure to CAD software Experience with time studies, line balancing, or capacity analysis Understanding of cost analysis and production variance reporting Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing setting Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, production, and supply chain teams Day-to-Day Responsibilities Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to support Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives Analyze manufacturing processes to determine production capacity and identify constraints Develop and track key performance metrics to monitor operational efficiency Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and cost reduction Ensure accurate and timely execution of material transactions and inventory processes Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve labor productivity and workflow efficiency Support accounting with production cost analysis and variance reporting Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation Physical and Environment Requirements Physical expectations and working conditions associated with the job may include standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods, as well as occasional lifting of up to 25-50 lbs. This role operates primarily in a manufacturing environment and may require time on the production floor in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
