Analyze customer specifications and work in coordination with production teams to ensure that goods are produced according to customer requirements. Guarantee the efficiency of production processes in terms of time, cost, and methodology, while applying continuous improvement initiatives to manufacturing activities. Perform Lean Production, 5S, TPM, and FMEA studies, and oversee related activities and projects. Analyze time and methods to define the duration of all production phases, and generate procedures, workflows, work instructions, and SAP routings. Follow up on projects and prepare status reports, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement. Conduct process simulations, collect and record data, and present findings in detailed reports. Provide input during incident investigations and research and procure new manufacturing technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's - Mechanical Engineering or a related field of study. Will accept foreign equivalent.
Experience:
Two (2) years as an Industrial Engineer, in the position above or in a related engineering role; Experience must include: 1. Developing, configuring and optimizing industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification 2. Assessing processes, taking measurements, and interpret data 3. Performing risk assessments and process simulations
