Job Description

KP Staffing is now hiring a production support engineer II for a company that manufactures advanced defense electro-mechanical products in Fort Worth, TX! Job Summary The production support engineer II will provide expert support to the production floor while maintaining assembly work instructions, routings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for complex defense electro-mechanical products. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes, maintain documentation accuracy, and ensure compliance with customer and industry requirements. Pay $70,000
  • $85,000 per year Shift 9/80 schedule 1st shift: 7:15 a.m.
  • 5 p.m., Monday
  • Thursday 1st shift: 7:15 a.m.
  • 4 p.
m., Friday (worked) Off every other Friday Duties Provide expert technical support to production teams during manufacturing processes Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement corrective actions Develop, maintain, and improve assembly work instructions for defense electro-mechanical products Manage and maintain routings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the ERP system Ensure manufacturing processes align with customer specifications and quality standards Research and recommend tooling solutions to improve efficiency and reduce lead times Lead process improvement initiatives utilizing lean manufacturing principles Maintain accurate and up-to-date manufacturing documentation in compliance with industry standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, quality, and supply chain Support bid and proposal efforts by assisting with labor and material estimates Utilize equipment and tooling knowledge to support production efficiency and new process implementation Assist in optimizing production workflows and manufacturing operations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related role Experience supporting production environments, preferably in defense electro-mechanical manufacturing Strong understanding of assembly work instructions, routings, and BOM management Proficiency with ERP systems and CAD software Proven troubleshooting and technical problem-solving experience Experience leading or supporting process improvement initiatives Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and parts lists Strong understanding of customer and industry specifications Excellent project management and organizational skills Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities Experience with tooling research and implementation preferred Familiarity with bid and proposal support in a manufacturing environment preferred Job Type Temp-to-hire How to Apply Start by submitting your resume or visit KP Staffing Fort Worth for an in-person interview. 3501 Airport Fwy Fort Worth, TX 76111 Open application hours Monday
