JOB TITLE
Process Engineer
JOB DUTIES
Assist with transforming lab-scale processes, through pilot batches, to large-scale compounding of personal care, OTC, and color cosmetic products. Provide Process Engineering support and leadership to initiate and sustain continuous improvement of products and process development and troubleshooting during technology transfer with customers. Carry out stability and compatibility testing of products under development. Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers. Assist with establishing best practices and innovative solutions to industrial processes to improve production rates and quality of output in processing operations - efficiency improvements, reduce costs, improve sustainability, and maximize profitability. Identify and resolve process deviations and Bulk or Raw Material non-conformances. Write, review, and maintain Quality documents, forms and records in the Operations areas. Provide off-shift support as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field and 1 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, compounding, or quality assurance. 1 year of experience including: 1. Cosmetic, OTC, FMCG, or related regulated industries. 2. Processing requirements for personal care, OTC, or color cosmetic products through execution, review, or development. 3. General safety and OSHA regulations including hazard communication (29 CFR 1910.1200) and PPE (29 CFR 1910.132-138). 4. Improving and optimizing production or manufacturing processes used in the making of personal care, food, or pharmaceutical products, and identifying and resolving process deviations or product non-conformances.
