ExpressPoint has a full-time opportunity for an Industrial Engineer in our East El Paso facility. This position designs, implements, monitors, and improves operational processes to increase efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Works closely with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and ensure processes meet regulatory and business requirements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost Design, develop, and implement new or improved processes and production methods Monitor process performance using data analysis, KPIs, and statistical tools Conduct root cause analysis and lead corrective and preventive actions Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions Support process validation, equipment qualification, and commissioning activities Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen Train operators and staff on new or updated processes Ensure timely, tactful, and respectful communication with all internal and external customers. Enforces all policies and procedures. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electro-Mechanical, or related field)
Experience:
5+ years related experience in process engineering or manufacturing/operations environments. Electronics industry experience preferred (electromechanical product, POS systems, computer systems). Experience with automation, process control systems, or ERP/MES systems preferred Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, SPC). Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to interpret technical drawings, process flow diagrams, and data reports Proficiency in standard engineering and data analysis tools Project management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Comfortable working in production, logistics, and office environment. Requires time on the production/logistics floor Able to work and travel in Juárez/El Paso. Occasional travel and extended hours during project implementations
