Duties:
Provide engineering support and guidance to DHL eCommerce Site. Develop, maintain, and execute Continuous Improvement roadmap for assigned site(s) that align with sector strategy, accounting for both internal and external process and financial improvement. Direct and perform project management and engineering functions, including (but not limited to): scope definition, design, budgeting, scheduling, line layouts, purchasing, cost estimating and control, implementation, system integration, documentation, report writing, start-up and training. Design and install safe mechanical and automated systems and processes. Stay abreast of technology enhancements within the industry. Lead and direct large, continuous improvement projects and implementation of solutions. Partner with customer to develop requirements and define solution sets. Develop business cases related to capital projects, including associated project plans and cost estimates. Navigate approval processes and manages installation of capital improvements.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in industrial and systems engineering or a related field plus 2 years of experience.
Experience must include:
Statistical data analysis; Data analysis tools such as MS Excel; MS Office; Warehouse Management System; Quality Control and Inventory Control methods, point; Continuous Process design and Process improvement. The required skills do not need to be maintained over the full term of required experience.
Salary:
$91,633 - $112,130/yr
