Job Description:
In this role, you will: Apply your knowledge of production engineering to advise and support clients in optimizing oil field operations Work directly with production engineers and supervisors to understand operational challenges, provide solutions, and ensure smooth implementation of digital tools and workflows. Utilize your affinity for modelling to develop and deploy models that improve production surveillance and operational efficiency. Design and configure systems for seamless data acquisition and integration, facilitating better decision-making for clients. Work closely with customer engineers, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful deployment of digital oil field solutions Profile You have a Petroleum Engineering degree (minimum Bachelor's). You have ~5 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in production engineering and operations. Knowledge of artificial lift systems is a must (ESP, Plunger Lift, Gas Lift), including Surveillance and Optimization principles. Strong affinity for data integration and modelling is essential. Familiarity and affinity with the following would be a major plus Concepts of Nodal Analysis and Flow Modelling software Data sources (e.g. OSI PI, Oracle, and SQL) You have strong analytical ability, organizational and problem-solving skills. You enjoy working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment Collaborating closely within a (global and virtual) team is something that attracts you, as well as having direct interactions with the customer. You are ready to tackle a project hands-on, whilst at the same time showing energy, drive and an entrepreneurial attitude. You have a proactive, self-starter attitude, along with a willingness to take ownership and lead projects. You currently already reside in the United States and are willing to work onsite in Houston, TX, as well as to make regular short trips to Midland, TX .
