$23.00/hour (Negotiable Based on Experience)
Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Industrial Engineer to support operational excellence initiatives within a fast-paced logistics and warehouse environment. This position will focus on analyzing processes, improving productivity, supporting continuous improvement projects, and assisting with operational and facility-related initiatives. The ideal candidate is bilingual, analytical, and eager to develop their engineering career in a dynamic setting. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Conduct time and motion studies to identify productivity improvement opportunities. Perform work measurement, labor utilization, and workload analyses. Analyze operational workflows, resource utilization, and process efficiency. Develop operational efficiency studies and recommend process improvements. Conduct risk assessments and assist with mitigation planning. Perform cost analyses and cost-benefit evaluations for operational initiatives and capital projects. Support continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, throughput, and service levels. Track and follow up on corrective actions resulting from operational reviews and audits. Coordinate minor facility maintenance, repairs, and handyman activities with internal teams and external vendors. Support Warehouse Management System (WMS) process improvements and operational technology initiatives. Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and engineering analyses to support management decision-making. Assist with Safety, Housekeeping, and Project Management initiatives as needed. Perform other duties as assigned to support operational objectives. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations. Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills. Experience with warehouse operations, logistics, WMS systems, or continuous improvement methodologies is preferred. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or process improvement principles is a plus. Benefits Competitive pay based on experience. Professional growth and development opportunities.
