Process Engineer

Overview We are actively seeking a Process Engineer for a full time, permanent position in Altavista, VA. This role leads product introductions, optimizes processes, and serves as a liason between customers and production teams. Responsibilities Lead new product introductions from quote to production launch Develop customer requirements, CAD designs, and tooling specifications Track project progress and timelines as the project gatekeeper Coordinate machinery installation and program launches Improve throughput, yield, and quality across production lines Develop setup sheets, work instructions, and control plans Identify quality trends and process variations; lead corrective actions and root cause analysis efforts Translate customer requirements into manufacturing specifications Serve as primary liaison between customers and the plant Requirements BS degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Experience in Statistical Process Control (SPC) Technical writing experience CAD experience for drawing customer parts and ordering tooling Experience in manufacturing, textile, nonwoven, or automotive industries Experience in new product development or process optimization #GRP2 Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
