Key Skill Requirements Shopfloor experience is mandatory Time Study Line Balancing Continuous Improvement Value Stream Mapping (VSM) Process Optimization Lean Manufacturing Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Experience Required 5-7 Years Job Description & Responsibilities Study assembly lines/processes and identify improvement areas using Lean principles Perform Time Study and Line Balancing including: Elemental breakdown Video time study Station/operator analysis
VA / NVA / RNVA
analysis Current state line balancing Muri analysis Develop Value Stream Mapping (VSM): Current state VSM Identify bottlenecks, waste, inefficiencies Capacity analysis & baseline study Future state VSM Gap analysis (Current vs Future state) Identify productivity/process improvement opportunities with Level 1, 2, 3 recommendations and roadmap Develop / rewrite Standard Work Instructions and Video Work Instructions Perform root cause analysis for quality failures, defects, downtime, etc. Support corrective actions, Kaizen initiatives, and implementation plans Support fixture design as per manufacturing requirements
